Salman Khan Blasts Paparazzi Over ‘Wrong-Angle’ Shots of Women: ‘Turn Around and Slap Them’, Says ‘Show Me Your Mothers and Sisters Like This’

Salman Khan has once again lost his cool at the paparazzi. During Bigg Boss 20 Weekend Ka Vaar on Saturday, the superstar called out photographers for allegedly capturing women and actresses from uncomfortable and inappropriate angles.

Salman made it clear that clicking celebrities does not give anyone the right to deliberately capture shots that make women uncomfortable. He also urged women to speak up and strongly object when photographers cross the line.

Salman Calls Out the ‘New Trend’ of Paparazzi Shots

Talking about the issue, Salman said there is a new trend where cameras are strategically positioned when actresses get out of or get into their cars.

He explained that photographers sometimes try to capture shots of a woman’s hips or legs and then even take pictures from behind.

Salman said:

“Today there is a new trend. When someone is getting out of the car, the camera is here, and when she is getting into the car, the camera is still here, so they can get a hip shot or a leg shot. Then they take another shot from behind, which no actress or girl likes.”

Salman acknowledged that some women may not mind such photographs, but stressed that the real issue is with those who are clearly uncomfortable with such camera angles.

Salman Mentions Sai Manjrekar

While discussing the issue, Salman brought up actress Sai Manjrekar, daughter of filmmaker-actor Mahesh Manjrekar, who worked with Salman in Dabangg.

According to Salman, Sai appears uncomfortable when photographers take pictures from such angles.

He also brought up Neha Dhupia, saying that he has personally seen her getting angry with paparazzi over similar situations.

Neha had previously objected strongly when photographers clicked and posted pictures of her from behind at the Gold Streaming Awards ceremony. She had reportedly warned the paparazzi over the way the pictures were being taken and shared.

‘Turn Around and Slap Them’

Salman became particularly blunt while telling women how they should respond if they are uncomfortable with such photography.

He said:

“Wherever this happens, turn around and slap them. Tell them, ‘Take this shot of your mothers and sisters and show it to us. Put it on social media. Take a shot of their thighs.’”

The actor also questioned why such behaviour has become common at almost every event.

He asked who gives such people press cards and questioned the mentality behind deliberately taking such photographs.

‘Bigg Boss Has 108 Cameras, But We Don’t Shoot Women Like That’

Salman then gave the example of Bigg Boss itself.

He pointed out that the Bigg Boss house has around 108 cameras, yet the camera team does not deliberately shoot women from angles that could embarrass or demean them.

According to Salman, contestants often find themselves in situations that could easily be presented in a suggestive or negative manner, but the show’s team does not deliberately use shots that put women down.

Salman Has Clashed With Paparazzi Before Too

This is not the first time Salman Khan has publicly expressed his frustration with the paparazzi.

On September 5, 2026, during the shooting of the Bigg Boss 20 premiere episode, a paparazzo reportedly called Salman ‘Baba’, while some people were also coming into the frame.

Salman reacted angrily, telling the paparazzi that they could not tell him what to do and that he had no need to come in front of the cameras. He also asked them to maintain their distance from the stage.

Salman Was Angry Over Noise Outside a Hospital

Earlier, on May 19, 2026, Salman had gone to a hospital to meet someone close to him. When he came outside, paparazzi began calling out to him while trying to get photographs.

The noise reportedly irritated Salman, who lashed out at the photographers.

Following the incident, Salman also shared a cryptic post on social media.

Later, when he attended the success party of Riteish Deshmukh’s film Raja Shivaji, paparazzi reportedly surrounded him and apologised for the earlier incident.

He Had Also Asked Paparazzi Not to Create a Ruckus

A similar moment happened at the Bigg Boss 19 success party.

When Salman arrived for photographs, paparazzi began shouting while clicking pictures. Salman responded with a gesture asking them to stop making noise.

Salman Got Angry When Paparazzi Surrounded His Niece Ayat

Salman has also been particularly protective when it comes to his family.

A few months ago, he attended an event related to the World Padel League, where his niece Ayat Sharma was also present.

After the event, Salman was carrying Ayat in his arms while leaving when photographers surrounded them.

Salman became angry and asked the paparazzi to move away.

Ayat Sharma is the daughter of Salman’s younger sister Arpita Khan and actor Aayush Sharma.

He Once Stopped Paparazzi From Photographing His Mother

Salman’s discomfort with intrusive photography goes back years.

On one occasion, Salman arrived with his mother at his brother Sohail Khan’s birthday party. As his mother was about to get out of the car, Salman gestured to the paparazzi and asked them to move away.

From his mother to his niece, Salman has repeatedly made it clear that there are moments when he wants photographers to respect his family’s personal space.

And now, with his latest outburst on Bigg Boss 20, Salman has once again put the spotlight on the line between celebrity photography and personal boundaries—especially when it comes to women being photographed from angles they may find uncomfortable or disrespectful.
